Every year, I drop a list similar to the XXL Freshman list where I list artist who I really believe put on for the city throughout this year. Every year people pretty much get in shambles over this list. Whether they're salty their fav wasn't mentioned or wish they were the one creating the list. The hate is real. BUT a girl has to do what she has to do and I will continue to put on for the city in the way me & my supporters feel fit. With that being said, this year with the rise of female rappers in New York; I really did my research before releasing this list. Meaning I asked the streets, looked up the youtube & Spotify #s, searched twitter and so much more. Be honest, did I nail it?
